Our program here at Kansas State University has changed significantly over the years. Today’s cadet has a mandatory 6-hour training week but in order to keep up with the ever changing needs of the organization and of the Air Force, it is not uncommon for a cadet to put in 10-30 hours a week into the professional aspects of the program.  Outside of this “part-time job”, cadets are expected to still balance a full academic schedule and be involved in other leadership or academic organizations on campus.

Because of the ever increasing demands expected from today’s cadet, it is the Wildcat Warriors goal to raise $120,000 dollars to invest in the Wildcat Warriors Endowment Fund that is managed by Kansas State University Foundation. This will ensure the success of cadets pursuing a commission in the Armed Forces by funding their operational costs, facility improvements, and emergency needs that may occur in the future for the organization or for its members.

Currently, the Wildcat Warriors fund their operations by raising money through stadium clean-ups. As the Kansas State family continues to grow in their support of these athletic events it creates a more daunting task for our already busy cadets. It has proven to be a very efficient way to raise funds to support operations, stadium clean-ups are becoming more challenging every year with the increased demands put on today’s college student. And although the Wildcat Warriors are in good standing to continue stadium clean-ups, like all things in life, it is not a guaranteed way to support the organization’s needs.
