Cadet Albers

​

Cadet Nachtigall is a member of the Honor Guard and is currently the Wing Commander of Arnold Air Society, and has also served as the wings Assistant to Ceremonies. He is currently enrolled in the Civil Engineering program at KSU and is interested in Structural Design, and Transportation systems. Outside of school, Cadet Nachtigall likes to read, go on hiking trips, and goes camping any chance he gets.

Cadet Weiser

Cadet Weiser is the current Honor Guard vice Commander within Detachment 270 and is pursuing a degree in Modern Languages. She is currently fluent in Spanish, Arabic, and Japanese! She was apart of the Miss America Fundraising program and was selected as Miss Metro KC 2016. Through fundraising projects she has raised $1,700 for the Children's Miracle Network, over $500 in supplies for the Leavenworth County VA which greatly impacted homeless Veterans,  and World War II Veterans. Her hobbies include painting, reading, video games, traveling, and sleeping any chance she gets.

Cadet Nachtigall

Cadet Albers is currently the Squadron 2 Commander within Detachment 270, he is the Morale and Wellness officer, as well as being a member of Honor Guard. His major is Professional Piloting and is studying at the Salina Campus of KSU. Cadet Albers is also a flight instructor at the Salina campus. He is a member of the fraternity Phi Delta Theta and holds the position of Secretary within the chapter. His hobbies include video games, shooting at the range with friends, flying, and soccer. His favorite national team is the National German Team, and his favorite club team is Bayern Munich.

Cadet Medina is and English Major with an emphasis in creative writing, and a minor in Leadership studies. She is the Alpha flight commander and is currently a member of the Honor Guard. Her favorite part of ROTC is that leadership opportunities give you the chance to learn about yourself as a leader, and as a follower. Her hobbies include reading every chance she gets, running, and writing about anything and everything.

Cadet Stolz

​

Cadet Stolz Is the assistant to the Manhattan Area Recruiting Officer, as well as the Civil Air Patrol Liaison Officer. His major is Computer Engineering as well as working within the Office of Mediated Education. He has soloed 11 hours on his Pilot's License in a Beechcraft Musketeer and has been flying aircraft since his junior year of high school.  His hobbies include flying, flight simulation, anything that has to do with the Air Forces history, he also enjoys running, and uses up any extra time he has by playing video games.

Cadet Compton is an AS 100 who is heavily involved with extracurricular activities inside and outside of the wing. His major is Computer Engineering and he is the starting Goalie on the Lacrosse team here at K-State. Cadet  Compton is also a member of the Electronics Design Club here at K-State. He has over 40 flight hours on single engine Aircraft and his hobbies include flying, playing the drums, piano,  and guitar. He recently received the American Legion Scholastic Excellence award for superior academic achievement.
