Wildcat Warriors all hope to     have the opportunity to serve our country and we therefore recognize the sacrifices our military makes in order to maintain the life we enjoy. Our efforts serve to reward this commitment and sacrifice by way of our annual 5k. This year the Wildcat Warriors will honor fallen Wildcat and Airman Captain William Grimm. Captain Grimm was killed in action during the First Gulf War while protecting the U.S. marines from Iraqi forces. All proceeds will go to improving and upkeep of Captain Grimm's memorial on Kansas States campus. If you would like participate in the 5k, click here.

Air Force Marathon

Dining In

Every year cadets from Kansas State University’s Air Force ROTC program take part in the annual Air Force Marathon.  The marathon was established in 1997 to celebrate the Air Force’s 50th anniversary. Since then, the participation and support has exponentially increased every year, resulting in a turnout of 15,500 runners.  Cadets also get the opportunity to explore Air Force Museum and the Tech Edge Works, giving them a good idea of Air Force history and the Air Force’s future.

Dining Out

Dining-In has served the Wildcat Warriors well as an occasion for members to meet and socialize while still being able to provide training in a fun and spirited environment. During dining-in, members are able to participate in team-building exercises, group leadership projects, and typically get to share a meal to grow and build the relations between members.

Similar to its respects in dining-in, dining-out is a formal meal for it's members and special guests. Traditional ceremonies are conducted such as the Saber arch for the special guests and the cadets that will be commissioning in the upcoming year, seen in the picture above.
